Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar is introducing Taste of the Future, a multi-sensory culinary voyage that will engage touch, sight, sound and taste during each course. The private dining space will transform with virtual panoramic projections and natural sounds of evocative scenes of the ocean, farms and vineyards that inspired the menu selections. Gracias Madre – Gratitude Kitchen & Bar to become Gracias Madre in November 2019
Gratitude in Newport Beach closed Sept. 3 for an extensive remodel. Gracias Madre, another
concept of the same owners, will be the sister location to the flagship LA restaurant and will have its own take on the signature vegan Mexican menu. The new location will also carry on the tradition of the Gracias Madre bar program, offering organic, artisanal tequila and mezcal craft cocktails. The space will welcome the addition of a private dining room, which will be ideal for holiday gatherings. For larger celebrations, the entire space will be available for buyouts. Newport Dunes – Pool area begins renovation
Newport Dunes Waterfront Resort is renovating and redesigning their pool area this fall and is set to debut in December later this year. This will be one of their biggest amenity refurbishments since their opening in 1958. Lido Theatre closing September 2019 for renovations
Lido Theatre closed its doors on Monday, Sept. 2 for a renovation. The historic 81-year-old
celebrated landmark will undergo sound and projection upgrades, air conditioning, new seating and carpeting and more. Lido Theatre is set to reopen in Spring 2020.
New Co-Working Space HanaHaus Now Open
HanaHaus is an open to the public innovative workspace located in the SAP building next to Lido Marina Village. The location functions primarily as a flexible, casual “office building” with open seating, large group work tables, private phone “booths,” small board rooms, individual work rooms and coffee shop called Blue Bottle Coffee all in one. Guests can bring in their own catering for meetings and re-configure the furniture the best way to suit their needs. All work spaces can be booked online by the hour. Roger’s Gardens Introduces ‘Malice in Wonderland’
Roger’s Gardens opened their Annual Halloween Boutique Sale Labor Day Weekend. Installations featuring the Mad Hatter’s Workshop, Red Queen’s domain and White Rabbit’s rabbit hole include décor pieces for guests to shop for their own homes. ‘Malice in Wonderland’ will be open till Oct. 31.
Karma Automotive opens flagship showroom in Newport Beach
Luxury electric vehicle creator and high-tech incubator Karma Automotive opened doors to a
15,000-square foot flagship store in Newport Beach, adjacent to John Wayne Airport. Dealership sales have already started but Karma plans on adding a customization center, a state-of-the-art vehicle and photo staging area, VIP concierge service and service operations.

Irvine Ranch Market – New location on Balboa Island set to open in September 2019
Irvine Ranch Market, is set to open their second location in a 100-year-old building on Balboa Island. The new location will take over the former space of Hershey’s Market which has been a Balboa Island essential since the early 1980’s.
